I have a painting in the Cambridge Art Association's 2025 Member Prize Show and there is an opening reception this week! Thursday, January 30th at the Kathryn Shultz Gallery from 6-8PM. Come say hello!
The painting is called You Have Just Begun and I am excited to have it included in this show. I painted it with a lot of freedom, not worrying about the outcome. It has a lot of layers, it has been through a lot of transformations, and it landed in a place of energy and hope.
I always aim for my paintings to provide a glimmer of hope. It can be hard to find sometimes. I often feel overwhelmed and can get stuck in despair. When I'm painting I have access to color and light. I am honored to share that with others. I hope it helps, even a little.
