I am so humbled and honored that so many people came out to my artist's reception. My Dad and I spent hours hanging all the paintings over two afternoons leading up the event. I was still adjusting painting heights about half an hour before people began to arrive! My husband took on all the puppy duties, kid schlepping, and housework so that I could focus on wiring the paintings and getting them ready to hang up. There are almost 40 paintings up! It's a lot.
The one thing I did not do well was take photos! My husband took the photo above as we were leaving. He made me pose with his favorite painting.
When I remembered to take a photo with my moms group, one of the husbands made a grand appearance. Definitely the best photo of the night:
