After our trip to Mexico this summer, we spent 2 weeks in the Adirondacks. I took lots of photos for painting inspiration! And swam, played cards, climbed a mountain twice, kayaked, canoed, and ate lots of good food. I even read 2 books.
This is my favorite place in the world. And it explains why a lot of my paintings are paths in the woods! Something about the way the light comes through the trees is endlessly soothing and mesmerizing to me.
I have really been soaking up the inspiration this summer. Vibrant colors and bold shapes in Mexico and the bright greens, browns, blues of the Adirondacks. What a great combo! Am I the luckiest person alive? It's possible!
