I'm working on a new series of paintings. They're all being born out of my intuition. They started one morning with loud dance music, lots of magenta and bright green. I think it was a longing for spring that brought those colors out. I had planned to do a 31-paintings-in-31-days challenge in March but I soon realized that these paintings needed more time in between layers. With a bit of a rest I could suddenly see more clearly what I wanted to do next and where each one was going.
I made the decision to work on this series and then release them one day at a time, in April! (If they're ready! These are coming along a little more slowly than I expected and I want to give them all the time they need.)
